With Bulgaria coming next at the EU Presidency cycle, Kalin Tomov, Counsellor, Head of sector Competitiveness, Internal Market and Consumer Protection at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Bulgaria to the European Union, will provide an overview of the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency in Competitiveness.

Mr. Kalin TOMOV is Head of the COMPET Section at the Permanent Representation of Bulgaria to the EU and a Member of the Council High Level Group on Competitiveness and Growth. He represents his country in the EU policy formulation process on issues relating to industrial policy, internal market policy, competitiveness and growth. Mr. Tomov has held various position in policy making and political cabinets in the Government of Bulgaria and has been Chair of Board of Directors of a company with approximately 500 staff.

This event is held under the Chatham House Rule.
