With Estonia becoming the next incumbent in the Presidency cycle, we are delighted to welcome Peeter Seestrand, Director of Division of Agriculture to discuss the priorities of the Estonian Presidency in Agriculture.

After providing a short key note speech there will be a moderated Q&A session.

Speaker:

Peeter Seestrand | Director of Division of Agriculture | Permanent Representation of Estonia to the EU

Mr. Seestrand is the Director of Division of Agriculture at the Permanent Representation of Estonia to the EU. His task is to represent Estonian interests concerning agricultural, fisheries and rural development questions in EU institutions as well as in other international organizations based in Brussels. He is the spokesperson of Estonia in the Special Committee on Agriculture. He has carried out various roles in the Ministry of Agriculture of Estonia for 20 years, including holding the position of Deputy Secretary General of Research and Development. Mr. Seestrand received his higher education from the Estonian University of Life Sciences in the field of agronomy.
