With Estonia coming up in the EU Presidency cycle, we are delighted to welcome Maria Orlova, Counsellor, Trade Policy Committee, Permanent Representation of Estonia to the EU, discussing the trade priorities of the Estonian Presidency.


Maria Orlova | Counsellor, Trade Policy Committee | Permanent Representation of Estonia to the EU

Maria Orlova is the counsellor in charge of trade policy issues at the Estonian Permanent Representation to the EU and follows the work of the Trade Policy Committee in the EU Council. She has over 15 years’ experience working on international and EU affairs in the Estonian Foreign Ministry, the European Commission and the Estonian Permanent Representation in Brussels. During the past few years, Maria has been covering a broad range of trade related files, including multilateral and bilateral trade negotiations and customs and trade facilitation. She holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the ULB University. She speaks Estonian, English, French and Russian.
